Incredible $30 Cartography Software Bundle Represents a Virtual Tabletop GM's Dream
Following a brief run back in April, the Map Making Mega Bundle is back with an encore available until Dec. 2. Described as an extensive collection of mapping tools created by ProFantasy Software throughout their history, the complete package carries a value of over $1,300. And there are three different bundles available here.
Primary Feature
The standout feature is certainly a lifetime license to the CC3+ software, an industry-standard cartography program which enables users to generate various types including epic fantasy landscapes, smaller regional maps, urban layouts, and, perhaps most importantly, tactical combat environments.

Package Levels
Basic Package
The cheapest bundle tier, at a minimum cost of $1, features merely four of the 39 total items: Symbol Set 1: Fantasy Overland, Token Treasury: Monsters 1, Source Maps: Castles!, and Source Maps: Cities!. This package suits existing CC3+ users, yet it provides fresh fantasy design elements for landscape mapping, more than 750 monster tokens for use in virtual tabletops, more than two dozen top-down castle layouts including hundreds of map markers, eight fully mapped cities, plus seventy-plus building interiors.
Intermediate Package
The eight-item bundle for at least $15 is where things get more interesting by adding in a lifetime CC3+ license, the first Annual volume, Ultimate Mapping Guidebook, Isometric Cities Symbol Pack. Cartographer's Annual is the annual collection from the company's ongoing subscription program featuring a variety CC3+ add-ons like map collections and various other tools. Isometric Cities lets you display cities with an extra dimension using angled views from multiple angles. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping comprises 760 pages for beginners and "power users" alike, full of tips and tutorials for the map-making process.

All 17 volumes from the Annual series are included here, plus numerous additional tools and content that can help users craft complete solar systems, or just go all-in on classic fantasy realm creation: battle maps, underground complexes, urban centers, and continents in multiple viewpoints. You can even design character portraits. For $30 as opposed to $15, the complete collection is so worth it, especially for cartographers with temporary CC3+ access and want to upgrade to lifetime. However, it's clearly more advantageous for map-making newbies considering you even get the beginners' tutorials to help you get started. The one caveat here though the purchase is available on any platform, the software is only usable with Windows systems.
Philanthropic Aspect
Similar to previous bundles, a portion of each sale supports charitable organizations. In this instance, the beneficiary is Save the Children, established in 1919 by Eglantyne Jebb dedicated to enhancing children's welfare globally via educational programs, medical services, and crisis response. Package customization options is toward the top of the page, though users may also choose their donation amount in the right-hand section. There's also an "Adjust Donation" drop-down immediately below, enabling adjustment of the distribution percentage allocated between the platform, developer, and charity.
