Britain's leader is expected to urge supporting countries to deliver Ukraine with more extended-range weaponry to hit Russian targets during talks in the UK capital on this Friday.

The prime minister is set to welcome President Zelensky alongside the so-called "coalition of the willing", comprising over twenty of supporting nations who have committed to grant Ukraine protection commitments once hostilities pause is negotiated.

Zelensky has been urging for weeks for further advanced missile technology from Western nations, a move that the Russian government has cautions would worsen the conflict.

President Zelensky is coming from the EU capital, where he met European Union officials on yesterday pursuing financial support.
